FBCSO entered into a partnership with Isaiah House several years ago to address the increasingly homeless issue in Essex County, NJ. While homelessness decreased throughout the State of New Jersey in 2015, 2016, & 2017, Essex County missed the trend and saw a significant increase in homeless families and individuals during those years.
With the mandate to Impact the world for Christ, FBCSO embraced Isaiah House by deciding to go beyond the regular holiday feel good food and toys contribution. Under the leadership of Dr. Richardson, a more committed relationship was established between FBCSO and the Director of Operations at Isaiah House.
Dr. Richardson arranged for FBCSO to tour the facility in order to learn more about its operations, services, and needs. On the day of the tour, the Authentic Manhood Men’s Ministry felt an immediate move on God and identified Isaiah House as their community outreach service.
