Capital Stewardship Campaign
“For he that soweth to his flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have herefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” Galatians 6:8-10.
Our underlying message for making this capital campaign successful is “Not equal giving, but equal sacrifice.” In 2010, we launched a two-phase capital campaign. Phase One Included raising a significant amount of capital to break ground on a new church facility or add an expansion to our current facility. We have received $1,500,000 in pledges and contributions since our initial campaign launch.
Living Our Faith Phase One Plan
Phase One projected cost is estimated at $1,000,000.00. Our current and future demands for a new or updated facility include:
- Updated restroom facilities
- Repair and upgrade of internal heating, cooling and plumbing systems
- Bring overall building up to code with electrical wiring
- Expand facility to include: Classroom space for youth ministry and Sunday School ministry and Office and meeting space for other ministries and administration.
Living Our Faith Phase Two Plan
Phase Two capital campaign begins when Phase One is complete. It will include a new facility altogether, or a new sanctuary, upstairs bathrooms, a cry room, new baptism pool, elevator and an audio/video room.
Living Our Faith Financial Goals
The goal, with God’s help, our commitment, and the love we have for our church is to raise $1 million dollars over the next 3 year period. This means a little over $330,000.00 per year.
